The Overland Police Department’s Safety Town for kids ages 5-7 will be returning to Overland in June.

This event is all about teaching kids to be safe. Subjects covered include fire safety, stranger danger, caution around animals, poisons in the home, railroad safety, as well as bicycle safety (including a mock city layout for them to ride through), and more. The children will be under the supervision of Overland police officers and trained volunteers.

This is an excellent event to help make kids more aware of hazards and how to avoid them. It’s also a lot of fun for them!

Safety Town is open to Overland Residents. Space is limited so be sure register early. You can register for this event by visiting the Overland Police Department in person at 2410 Goodale Ave. Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM.
