The Overland Historical Society (OHS) is hosting a presentation at the log cabin property on Lackland Rd. on the history of death and mourning on the Missouri. frontier, as well as the myths and superstitions associated with it.
The log house and graveyard will be open with guided tours and exhibits describing how a typical Missouri frontier family would honor their deceased loved ones.
This is a free event open to the public (though donations are welcome and appreciated).
