The Kaufman Fund is holding a Veteran’s Food Drive at VFW Post 3944 on Midland (The one with the helicopter out front) on Saturday, May 4th, 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM. If you’re a veteran or a veteran family in need you can register for this event here.

These are awesome events that I’ve had the honor of volunteering at a few times (and plan to do so again at this one). It’s well organized and machine-like in its efficiency, though it still has its warmth, charm, and is a lot of fun to help at.
